For health care associated infections, hospitals are ranked based on their reported incidences of central line-associated bloodstream infections (CLABSIs), catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTIs), surgical site infections (SSIs), MRSA Bacteremia, and C.difficile laboratory-identified events.
The higher a hospital on this list, the less likely its patients are to suffer treatment-related infections.
