Matthews has 30 years of professional engineering experience with a specific focus on transportation. She holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and is a registered professional engineer (PE) in Indiana, and Illinois.
Previous work experience has allowed her to refine her skillset in Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Plans & Policy Exceptions, Traffic Impact and Safety Studies, Road Design, Civil Site Design, and INDOT Permitting.
