Keith Broadnax Receives Leadership Award for Excellence in Affordable Housing Industry

Cinnaire announced today that SVP Keith Broadnax has been honored with the Indiana Affordable Housing Council (IAHC) Award for Leadership in Affordable Housing, recognizing his outstanding contributions and unwavering commitment to the industry. The award celebrates individuals who not only excel in their professional roles but also embody the true spirit of leadership and passion, making a tangible difference in the lives of others.

The IAHC Award for Leadership in Affordable Housing recognizes and honors a person who serves as a role model, who exemplifies the qualities of leadership and passion and who makes improving the lives of Hoosiers through the provision of safe, decent and affordable housing an integral part of his or her daily work.

Keith has deep roots in Indiana and brings over 30 years of community and economic development finance expertise to the affordable housing industry. He joined Cinnaire in 2002 and serves as Senior Vice President, Business Development, for Indiana and Illinois. In this role he focuses on raising and deploying capital to support affordable housing and community development initiatives.

Throughout his career, Keith has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure that affordable housing is accessible for those who need it most. Through innovative programs, creative financing solutions, tireless advocacy, and a deep understanding of a community’s needs, Keith has made significant contributions improving the quality of life for countless individuals and families. His hands-on approach to community development ensures his efforts are well-informed and genuinely impactful. By building strong relationships and listening to the voices of those we serve, Keith effectively addresses community needs and drives meaningful change.

Keith earned his Bachelor’s degree from Northern Kentucky University and his Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Ball State University. He serves or has served on the boards of the Illinois Housing Council, Indiana Affordable Housing Council, Prosperity Indiana, Coalition for Homeless Intervention and Prevention, Hamilton Area Neighborhood Development (HAND), First Pathway Community Development Advisory Committee, Ball State University Planning Alumni Advisory Board and the City of Indianapolis Advisory and Redevelopment CDE. In 2023, he was named the CHIP Champion, an award celebrating an individual who embodies dedication and commitment to CHIP’s mission and champions the work of CHIP in the community. He is an active member of Black Men Run Indianapolis, an organization focused on promoting the health and wellness among African American men by promoting a culture of running to stay fit.
