Northeast Indiana Architect and Community Leader Honored

It is with immense pride that we announce Pat Pasterick, a seasoned architect, business owner, and community leader, as the recipient of a distinguished award in recognition of his unwavering commitment and profound contribution to Northeast Indiana's community.

The award ceremony took place at the Fort Wayne Country Club, at 5pm May 29, 2024 where Pat was recognized among local leaders and Senator Travis Holdman. The celebration marks a significant milestone in Pat's career, demonstrating their outstanding contribution and commitment.

Throughout his illustrious 40-year career, Pat has consistently demonstrated the power of collaboration, innovative planning, and strategic problem-solving. His relentless work has resulted in the creation of over 15,000 jobs, bolstering Fort Wayne-Allen County as the fastest growing economy in the Great Lakes Region.

As a prominent member of the Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce Board in 2012, Pat's vision transformed it into today's Greater Fort Wayne. Moreover, his active involvement in the development of Northeast Indiana’s “Opportunity on the Edge of Greatness” initiative resulted in securing $42 million from the State in investments, helping four out of five proposed projects to fruition, thereby ameliorating the region's liveability and quality of life.

Furthermore, Pat's guidance to the Allen County Public Library saw the realization of its $100 million capital campaign, ensuring top-tier services for the County's 14 branches. His work with the local Arts community, leading arts bodies like Arts United, Fort Wayne Museum of Art, Fort Wayne Philharmonic, and the Fort Wayne Ballet in redefining their future downtown, is nothing short of commendable.

As co-founder and CEO of Design Collaborative, Pat's exceptional leadership has garnered multiple accolades, including the AIA Indiana Distinguished Firm of the Year, Greater Fort Wayne Small Business of the Year, and the PSMJ Premier Award for Client Satisfaction.

Beyond his professional realms, Pat has demonstrated his commitment to the community by serving various roles at Trinity English Lutheran Church and the Indiana Alcohol & Tobacco Commission.

For over three decades, Pat’s strategic planning and design solutions have facilitated Indiana students’ development and attracted and retained staff at Indiana corporations, immensely enhancing the Indiana business environment. His tireless dedication and impactful representation are indeed worth celebrating.
