Drive Clean Indiana Unveils New Name for Annual Technology Event: The REACT Expo

Drive Clean Indiana, Indiana’s sole U.S. Department of Energy designated Clean Cities and Communities coalition, is thrilled to announce a major update to its highly anticipated Annual Technology Conference. The coalition will rebrand the conference to The REACT Expo which represents Renewable Energy & Advanced Clean Transportation. The new acronym encapsulates

the event’s focus on advancements in sustainable energy and the future of clean transportation.

Join us this November at the 2024 REACT Expo as we celebrate the unveiling of our event name change and give a final toast to Drive Clean Indiana’s 25th anniversary year. Falling within the holiday season, this year’s event promises to deliver a “Winter Wonderland of Clean Transportation Innovation”.

A welcome reception on November 19 will offer an exclusive opportunity for attendees to connect and network in a festive and celebratory atmosphere. This year, Argonne National Labs will present essential insights on electricity to EPACT fleets from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Since 2009, Drive Clean Indiana has reduced the state’s gasoline gallon equivalents (GGEs) by over 300 million gallons and cut greenhouse gas emissions by over 2 million tons. The organization has also helped its members secure over $200 million for clean transportation projects.

Drive Clean Indiana’s mission thrives through education, outreach, training, grant writing, funding acquisition, project management, and stakeholder partnerships. In 2015, the coalition received national recognition, and the Liseks were inducted into the Clean Cities and communities Hall of Fame.
