Visit Indy Welcomes New Film Commissioner

Teresa SabatineTeresa Sabatine has been announced as the City of Indianapolis’s first Film Commissioner, as part of the Film Indy Initiative, which seeks to bring more film and television projects to the city. Sabatine is a graduate of Ball State University, and she previously worked as the director of business development for People for Urban Progress. She also has experience in the television and film industry in New York and Los Angeles.

Her primary responsibilities will be demonstrating that Indy is a city that is ready and willing to open its doors to film projects. The results of her work could be very lucrative for the city, as projections show that the Film Indy initiative could potentially generate a $6 million annual economic impact.
