Tim Hadders of Advanced Engineering Services (AES) took the title of Master of the Grill for his brisket recipe at the Northwest Indiana Business RoundTable (NWIBRT)’s first-ever annual Smoke-Off, Cook Off, held Tuesday, July 23 at Bulldog Park in Crown Point.
Guest judges were Brent Brashier, Chief Barbeque Officer at Doc’s Smokehouse; Fred Linz, Owner and CEO of Meats by Linz; John Sabotnik of NiSource; and Taylor Hunter of AMS Industries, Inc.
Trophies were awarded to both Hadders and AES for the honors.
The competitors were:
