RJL Solutions has officially opened its Evansville office, reinforcing its statewide presence and deepening its commitment to southern Indiana communities. The new office expands RJL’s ability to deliver expertise in government relations, marketing and communications, economic development, and association management across the state.
“Opening our Evansville office represents greater access and opportunity for Southern Indiana,” said Rachel Leslie, CEO of RJL Solutions. “Just as we first began in West Central Indiana—working hands-on, day-to-day to transform bold ideas in our own backyard—planting roots in Evansville allows us to do the same here. We’re committed to getting to know our neighbors while bringing the talent and expertise of more than 25 professionals to help bold ideas become a reality and drive business and community growth across Southern Indiana and Northern Kentucky.”
To launch the Evansville office, RJL has named two well-known regional leaders to its team. Megan Heronemus has joined as Director of Business Development, bringing two decades of experience in hospitality, tourism, and business development. Since joining RJL in March, she has been actively representing the firm in Evansville, engaging with local leaders and building partnerships.
Heronemus said she looks forward to continuing that work. “After more than 22 years in the hospitality and tourism industry, I am excited to begin this next chapter with RJL Solutions,” Heronemus said. “Opening the firm’s third Indiana office in Evansville is both an honor and an opportunity to keep doing what I am most passionate about—building relationships, strengthening communities, and driving growth.”
Christy Powell, RJL’s new Director of Economic Development, adds more than 20 years of expertise in municipal management, housing, infrastructure, and community development. She most recently served as Community Development Director and READI Grant Lead for the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership (EREP).
“I have seen firsthand the potential of southern Indiana communities, and I’m passionate about helping them grow stronger through strategic investment and collaboration,” Powell said. “At RJL, I’m excited to work alongside local governments, businesses, and community leaders to turn ideas into lasting results.”
Since 2020, RJL has doubled in size. With offices in Indianapolis, Terre Haute, and now Evansville, the firm continues to build on its reputation as a catalyst for results that matter across Indiana.
