Powers Health Rehabilitation Center earns NRC Health Excellence in Patient Experience Award

Posted

Powers Health Rehabilitation Center has been honored with the NRC Health Excellence in Patient Experience – Specialty Hospital Award for 2024. The award recognizes top-performing hospitals and health systems nationwide for excellence in providing outstanding patient experiences across the continuum of care.

Winners are selected annually, based on receiving exceptional real-time patient feedback Net Promoter Score (NPS) scores. That score is a way of measuring customer satisfaction. Award recipients have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to improving the care experience, earning top satisfaction ratings from patients and their families.

“At Powers Health, we prioritize patients’ experience because we know the impact a positive encounter has on a person’s overall health,” said Chief Operating Officer Alan Kumar, MD. “We strive to ensure patients and their loved ones feel heard, comforted and welcome.”

NRC Health selects clients based on their achievement within categories that patients have defined as being most important to the quality of their care. Health systems and hospitals were selected for the award based on their score for the “Would Recommend Facility” question during the time period of April 1, 2023-March 31, 2024.

“At Powers Health Rehabilitation Center, we engage with our patients in a way that shows compassion, courtesy and understanding to deliver a patient experience that is of the highest standard,” said Craig Bolda, administrator of Powers Health Rehabilitation Center.

The achievement is the result of a team effort, said Helen Hrdy, NRC Health’s chief customer officer.

“The outstanding dedication Powers Health has shown in understanding patients’ needs and elevating their experience truly reflects NRC Health’s mission to infuse Human Understanding into healthcare,” she said.
