A groundbreaking event was recently held for the 1.25-acre Carmel Gateway East Lawn at the newly rebranded campus of Carmel Gateway. This nearly $2.2 million dollar project is part of a major investment into the office park for Rubenstein Partners LP.
Carmel Gateway boasts a strong occupancy rate of 76% as the office park continues to create new amenities like the Carmel Gateway East Lawn. The lawn will create an attractive park-like area with outdoor seating, lush landscaping and the opportunity to host community events, such as musical performances.
The groundbreaking included remarks from Patrick Moyers, Carmel Gateway Property Manager, Brian Simel, VP of Rubenstein Partners LP, and Carmel Mayor Sue Finkam.
"This is an amazing opportunity for us. We have $40 million invested from a private partner. So, this public-private partnership is special," said Finkam. "We have created an environemnt where it attracts this kind of investment. Thats a win-win. That's what we are hoping to do day in and day out."
The groundbreaking event represented both the East and West Lawns on the Carmel Gateway property. More details will be shared about the West Lawn at a later date.
