The Northwest Indiana Influential Women Association (NWIIWA) is excited to announce several recent elections to its Executive Committee, which administers many of the policies and activities of NWIIWA at the behest of the association’s board of directors.

NWIIWA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and the leading professional development association for women in Northwest Indiana, with thousands of members and affiliates.

“Our association is currently experiencing unprecedented momentum driven by the energy and engagement of our partners. It’s such an exciting time to be a part of NWIIWA, and our committee is inspired by the overwhelmingly positive input we’ve been receiving. As NWIIWA grows, so too does opportunity for women and companies – and that’s going to be huge for Northwest Indiana,” said Mary Wright, Executive Committee chair.

The committee now consists of:

  • Chair – Mary Wright, Horizon Bank
  • Vice Chair – Aida Haigh, NiSource
  • Secretary – Robert Joseph, ArcelorMittal R&D
  • Treasurer – Erica Dombey, Regional Development Company
  • Executive Director – Andrea Pearman, Diversified Marketing Strategies

Together, the new committee members are already hard at work building new pathways to advancement for women by fostering collaborations between companies and developing new educational and networking opportunities.

NWIIWA has several major premier events planned throughout 2024, including the popular Designer Purse & Sunglass Bingo fundraiser (Mar. 6), the Influential Women of Northwest Indiana Awards Banquet (Sept. 26), and a new Professional Women’s Conference that will launch on November 13th (more info on that event will be announced soon).
