NWIIWA 2021 Board of Directors and Executive Board Announced

The Northwest Indiana Influential Women Association (NWIIWA) is pleased to announce it has recently elected its 2021 Board of Directors and Executive Board. Among this year’s electees are representatives from many regional business organizations that have come together to improve career development and advancement opportunities for women in NWI.

“With over 100,000 impressions each year, NWIIWA’s board maintains an active and consistent message across all that we do. We work to empower and strengthen opportunity for women in Northwest Indiana and we achieve this by working closely together,” Erica Dombey, NWIIWA board chair, president and executive director of the Regional Development Company.

Throughout the past year, despite limitations on gatherings, NWIIWA participants have remained actively engaged in several professional development and leadership initiatives designed to improve skillsets for professionals in the region. This has included activities like the virtual Breaking the Glass Ceiling series, the Empowerment Series, and the Coffee and Connect networking forum.

In the coming months, the association is planning to involve numerous high-profile speakers that will be featured during educational events and is working diligently to plan a safe Influential Women awards banquet on September 30^th. The premier banquet is the most popular event in the area for the recognition of professional achievements among women.
