The Northwest Indiana Forum recently hired Morgan Bruns as the Marketing and Events Coordinator. Bruns will be working with key stakeholders to execute events and marketing strategies.
Bruns graduated from The Media School at Indiana University Bloomington in December of 2022. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a concentration in Public Relations, a specialization in Strategic Communications and a minor in Communication and Public Advocacy.
During her time at Indiana University, Bruns held three internships in the marketing department at Cook Medical, a medical device manufacturing company in Bloomington. She used strategic communications to share the company’s impact with employees and external partners.
She also worked as a Communications intern at CCB Counseling Services, a nonprofit organization in Bloomington that offers innovative approaches to mental health. Bruns established new communication channels to expand organizational services throughout Southern Indiana.
After graduation, Bruns worked as a Marketing Communications Specialist at Smithville, a broadband company in Ellettsville. She worked on many communications projects to promote fiber internet and other services to residents and businesses in Central and Southern Indiana.
As a native of Northwest Indiana, Bruns is excited to join an organization that continues to positively impact the place she calls home.
