Nonprofit Launching "Breaking the Glass Ceiling” Series

Beginning in January 2021, NWIIWA will be launch a free vodcast (video cast) series called “Breaking the Glass Ceiling.” Scheduled speakers include a powerful lineup of individuals such as Indiana’s Lt. Governor and other prominent company leaders.

Each month in this series, an accomplished guest will be sharing lessons intended to help other professionals empower their careers. There will also be a candid question-and-answer session following the presentations where speakers will discuss real-world barriers and other issues they’ve encountered in the workplace.

• Dawn Reynolds Pettit, Vice President of Human Resources for Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana, will be the first speaker. The event will take place on January 13, 2021 at 11:30AM. To register, please click here.
• Janet Seabrook, CEO of Community HealthNet Health Centers (CHN), will be February’s speaker.
• Indiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch will speak during March’s event.
• Kelly A. Shikany, VP and Financial Advisor with CAPTRUST, will speak in April.

NWIIWA partnered with Purdue University Northwest (PNW) to develop the Breaking the Glass Ceiling series. Additional speakers are being scheduled throughout 2021 and will be announced at http://nwiiwa.org/.
