The Indiana Builders Association (IBA) recently rewarded the 2025 Don Cassidy Associate of Year award to Nick Prentice, Chief Operating Officer of Blue River Digital in Warsaw, at the 2025 Hoosier Excellence Awards ceremony.
Prentice, an engaged and influential member of the Builders Association of North Central Indiana (BANCI), has shown exceptional commitment to the association at both the local and state levels. Over the past five years, he has served three years on the Board of Directors, five years on the Marketing Committee including multiple terms as Committee Chair, and three years on the Membership Committee. His company, Blue River Digital, has also supported BANCI as a Homes on Parade Gala Sponsor for three consecutive years.
BANCI leadership shared, “BANCI is very fortunate to have Nick Prentice as a member. He is an extremely involved and dedicated member.”
“Nick’s enthusiasm, reliability, and leadership make him an outstanding representative of our associate members,” said Ryan Baker, IBA’s 2025 President. “He consistently goes above and beyond in service to the association and his community. Nick is a tremendous asset to BANCI and to the Indiana Builders Association as a whole.”
Prentice’s service extends far beyond the association. He serves on the Board of Directors for his local YMCA and on the board of Pleasant View Bible Church. Through Blue River Digital, he has also led charitable efforts in Malawi, Africa by building a school and acquiring facilities to support students and their education.
The Don Cassidy Associate of the Year Award recognizes an associate member who has demonstrated outstanding service, dedication, and leadership within IBA and the home building industry. The Indiana Builders Association is proud to recognize Nick Prentice for his exemplary contributions, community involvement, and unwavering support of Indiana’s home builders.
