M/I Homes of Indiana Celebrates Pelotonia Benefit Home in Brownsburg’s Auburn Ridge Community

Posted

Residential homebuilder M/I Homes of Indiana honored business partners who helped bring their Pelotonia Benefit Home to life in the Auburn Ridge community in Brownsburg during a celebration and ceremonial check presentation. The project is a powerful symbol of community collaboration and was made possible by the generosity of nearly 70 M/I Homes of Indiana business partners who contributed time and materials to build the spacious and thoughtfully designed two-story single-family residence. M/I Homes of Indiana matched the time and materials donated, bringing the total donation to $346,152 in support of Pelotonia, a nonprofit organization which directs all participant-raised funds to cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.

Since 2021, M/I Homes has committed to building benefit homes across the country, raising an impressive $11 million to date for Pelotonia. This year, M/I Homes is building 16 benefit homes nationwide, with proceeds from the sale of each home helping to advance groundbreaking cancer treatments and reflecting the company’s deep commitment to making a lasting impact in the fight against cancer.

“This beautiful new home in Auburn Ridge is not just a place for a family to live, but a joint effort with our partners to support lifesaving cancer research,” said Cassian Bernard, Area President of M/I Homes of Indiana. "It’s an incredible feeling to know that, together through our donation, we are helping bring hope and healing to others through the construction of this Pelotonia Benefit Home."
