McCarter & English announced the addition of  Aaron Grant and Christopher Drewry as partners in its Indianapolis office, expanding its capabilities in the Midwest. Grant joins the firm’s Business Litigation group and Drewry joins the Labor and Employment group. The arrival of Grant and Drewry deepens the bench of McCarter’s Midwestern foothold and adds additional counseling and litigation firepower to the existing team.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Chris and Aaron and look forward to the impact they will have on the Indianapolis office,” said Katherine D. Althoff, Co-Managing Partner of McCarter’s Indianapolis office. “They are seasoned attorneys who broaden our capabilities in Indianapolis and enhance our commitment to providing top-tier counsel to our clients.”

Grant’s background as a general commercial litigator is built on his experience servicing clients across numerous industries on virtually all types of disputes, including shareholder and membership business disputes and partnership issues. He has significant experience advising clients in the food and beverage, manufacturing, agricultural, and commercial real estate industries.

“Moving to a firm with a broad range of services and an expanded geographic footprint helps me provide my clients with the additional services they need,” Grant said. “I am happy to reunite with former Ice Miller colleagues and friends in the Indianapolis office and already feel part of the McCarter family.”

Drewry advises clients on a range of legal issues affecting their business, including labor and employment, construction, and contractual matters, and represents their interests in related litigation matters. Drewry also has significant experience serving clients in the construction industry in negotiating contracts and addressing disputes.

“For years, Aaron and Chris have been professional colleagues and friends of many of us in the Indianapolis office,” said Amy K. Fisher, Co-Managing Partner of McCarter’s Indianapolis office. “We are pleased to now call them our partners and look forward to working with them to service our clients.”

“Joining McCarter represents an exciting next step in my career,” said Drewry. “Its national network and expansive capabilities offer me the opportunity to grow my client base, provide services to those who operate outside of Indiana, and handle increasingly complex matters.”

“The growth of our Indianapolis office is a key component of the firm’s strategy as we continue to strengthen and expand the full scale of services we provide to our clients across the country,” said Joseph Boccassini, McCarter’s Firmwide Managing Partner. “Aaron and Chris represent important additions to our team there.”
