STAR is pleased to name Kristin Marcuccilli president of STAR Financial Group, the parent company to STAR Financial Bank.
“It has been a pleasure serving as president & chairman of STAR Financial Group for the past 37 years. However, to best maximize the future success, we are separating the positions moving forward. I am pleased to retain the title of chairman, STAR Financial Group,” says Tom Marcuccilli. “Kristin’s keen ability to lead leveraging both people and technology is just what STAR needs to drive continued growth.”
Kristin Marcuccilli has held the title of Chief Operating Officer of STAR Financial Bank since 2013. Her responsibilities have included oversight of bank operations, information technology and digital strategy, physical/information security, construction and project management. She joined the bank in 2008 and has served in a variety of retail delivery, digital banking, marketing and strategic planning roles.
Marcuccilli is involved in numerous community organizations, serving as a board member for the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, Indiana State Chamber of Commerce, Indiana Technology & Innovation Association and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, where she also serves as vice chair of the Entrepreneurship Committee. Additionally, she is a founding member of Touchdown for Kids, an organization benefiting Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.
Marcuccilli earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Indiana University. She has completed the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking, through which she is a Wharton Leadership Certificate recipient. Marcuccilli resides in Fort Wayne.
