Indianapolis-based real estate firm @properties IND is expanding to Evansville, partnering with a team of top area agents to open an office in the state’s third-largest market, the company announced today. The office, located at 8788 Ruffian Lane in Newburgh, will serve Evansville and neighboring Newburgh.
Thirteen agents and staff moved over from F. C. Tucker Emge to open the new @properties office, including top area brokers Marc Hoeppner, Will Ritter and Chris Schafer, who will lead the new venture. The three bring a combined 25+ years of regional real estate experience to their roles and consistently rank in the top 1% of teams in southwest Indiana.
Headquartered in Indianapolis, @properties IND offers its agents and clients an enhanced real estate experience through its industry-leading marketing, training and @properties’ proprietary suite of brokerage technology, pl@tform™. Widely considered one of the most advanced tools in the industry, pl@tform has revolutionized the way agents manage their business and workflow, seamlessly integrating client management, marketing and transaction management to optimize the real estate sales process. @properties IND now has eight offices with nearly 190 agents, including six locations in the Indianapolis metro, one in Lafayette, and the new office.
Hoeppner, Ritter and Schafer say they are especially eager to introduce @properties’ focus on innovation and technology and its collaborative culture to southwest Indiana, which, they say, sets the firm apart in a region currently dominated by legacy real estate firms.
“@properties IND brings a fresh perspective that’s needed in Evansville and Newburgh, and we’re thrilled to lead the charge,” said Hoeppner. “We will offer a new kind of real estate experience that we know will resonate with local buyers, sellers and agents.”
“In addition to their impressive track record and a great understanding of the southwestern Indiana market, Marc, Will and Chris’s client-focused philosophy aligns perfectly with ours,” said Mark Nottingham, broker-owner of @properties IND. “I have no doubt that the team will soon make @properties IND the brokerage of choice for anyone looking to buy or sell a home in the region.”
Set along the banks of the Ohio River in southern Indiana, Evansville is Indiana’s third-most populous city after Indianapolis and Fort Wayne. Often referred to as the “Crescent Valley” or “River City,” today, Evansville is southwest Indiana’s hub of commercial, medical and cultural activity, home to several universities, top medical centers and NYSE-traded companies. Single-family homes in the market range from $250,000 to over $1 million.
The Evansville expansion is an important step in @properties IND’s long-term growth strategy, as the firm looks to increase its presence and brand awareness in the southern part of the state. “We see tremendous potential for our brand in economically vibrant cities outside of north and central Indiana, including Evansville and Bloomington, which are increasingly connected to the Indianapolis metro area," explained Nottingham.
