LAURA KUKELHAN, Senior Landscape Architect, has been promoted to Senior Associate at MSKTD & ASSOCIATES.
Laura sees a site as a puzzle. Existing features, drainage, utilities, circulation, accessibility, program, budget, and long-term maintenance all need to work together. Her strength is seeing how those pieces connect and helping clients make informed decisions early, when there is still time to influence the outcome.
In her nine years with MSKTD, Laura has brought that perspective to higher education, recreation and wellness, workplace, civic, community, and zoo environments. She asks practical questions, listens to the people who know the site best, and looks beyond the building to understand how people will arrive, move through, use, and experience the entire place.
Laura has also helped advance MSKTD’s zoo experience work. These projects require her to consider several viewpoints at once including animal care, keeper access, guest experience, site performance, utilities, planting, construction, and long-term operations. Her ability to work through those competing needs and bring project teams toward a cohesive solution has made her a trusted partner to clients and colleagues.
As a Senior Associate, Laura will continue to support the growth of MSKTD’s landscape architecture services while strengthening client relationships and project teams by helping them understand the opportunities each site offers.

JOSH SNYDER, PE, Senior Structural Engineer, has been promoted to Senior Associate, reflecting the expertise, leadership, and trusted relationships he has developed during his 24 years as a Structural Engineer at MSKTD. He helps clients navigate complex decisions by understanding how a facility’s structure supports not only the building itself, but also the people, operations, and long-term goals it serves. His ability to balance technical requirements with project realities helps teams move forward with confidence, knowing critical decisions are grounded in sound engineering and thoughtful planning.
Josh works closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and owners to develop integrated solutions that support project performance, efficiency, and long-term value. Whether working on healthcare, higher education, corporate, community, or industrial facilities, he brings a steady, solutions-oriented approach that helps teams manage complexity and make informed decisions.
As a Senior Associate, Josh will continue to strengthen MSKTD’s structural engineering services, support client and project team relationships, and guide practical solutions that help projects move forward.
