Lake County Corn Dogs Baseball Franchise Seeks National Anthem Performers

Can you sing the national anthem? Play it on an instrument? Have a band? The Lake County Corn Dogs want you on the field with them this summer. All types of talent are encouraged to audition, including individual singers, choirs, musical artists and military ensembles.

The Corn Dogs Class D baseball franchise is holding auditions for National Anthem performers. To be considered, send a link to the performance or a video or audio file (common formats please) to: info@corndogsbaseball.com.

A member of the Corn Dogs’ front office staff will review submissions and make the season’s selections.

 

Affordable Family Fun

Playing at Legacy Fields at Center Ross Park in Crown Point, the Corn Dogs’ inaugural season offers baseball fans an action-packed schedule of 28 home games (see schedule and tickets). So, there will be plenty of opportunities to perform this summer.

The Corn Dogs open the 2022 Northern League season with a three-game homestand against their ready-made rivals, the NWI Oilmen. First pitch for all three games is at 7 p.m.

The Corn Dogs start the season on the road Monday, May 23, with a matchup against the Southland Vikings at Dowling Park in Hammond. The Corn Dogs return for their home opener on Thursday, May 26 to start a three-game series versus the Northwest Indiana Oilmen.
