Pulaski County-headquartered Good Oil Company is celebrating 85 years of serving customers, communities, and businesses across the Midwest. Founded in 1941 by Don O. Good Sr. and Mary Good in Monterey, Indiana, the family-owned company has grown from a small petroleum supplier serving farms and homes into a diversified energy, transportation, wholesale fuels, and convenience store company operating under the Good To Go brand.
Now led by the third generation of the Good family, CEO Nicole Earp and President Wyatt Good continue to build on the values that have guided the company for more than eight decades: integrity, hard work, community involvement, and a commitment to customer service.
Today, Good Oil Company operates 20 Good To Go convenience stores across Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois while also supplying fuel to nearly 200 wholesale locations throughout the Midwest. The company continues to expand both its retail and wholesale footprint, with plans for continued growth in the years ahead.
"Reaching 85 years is a remarkable milestone, but what makes it meaningful are the people who have been part of the journey," said Nicole Earp, CEO of Good Oil Company. "Our employees, customers, dealer partners, and communities have helped shape who we are. We are incredibly grateful for their support and excited about what the future holds."
As part of the celebration, Good To Go will spend July and August thanking customers with giveaways, loyalty rewards, special promotions, and the chance to win Free Gas for a Year. Guests can also enjoy a piece of the company's 85th Anniversary birthday cake, available in stores throughout the celebration. The anniversary campaign is designed as a thank-you to the customers and communities who have been part of Good Oil's story for the past 85 years.
The anniversary celebration comes during a period of significant momentum for the company. In recent years, Good Oil expanded into Ohio through the acquisition of five stores, launched a new Good To Go brand identity, enhanced its Good Rewards loyalty program, and continued investing in technology, food service, transportation, and wholesale fuel operations.
While much has changed since 1941, the company's mission remains the same: exceeding the expectations of customers, employees, communities, and industry partners while creating opportunities for future generations.
"As we celebrate 85 years, we're honoring the legacy built by our grandparents and parents while looking ahead to the next chapter," said Wyatt Good, President of Good Oil Company. "We're proud of where we've come from, and we're excited about where we're going."
