Elements Financial Announces Interim CEO

Posted

The Board of Directors of Elements Financial has appointed an experienced finance professional to serve as Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for an extended transitional period. John Huesing replaces Whitney Anderson who resigned from Elements in late 2023 to pursue new opportunities.

Huesing brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this position, coupled with a strong track record of leadership from his most recent role as Vice President and Treasurer at Indiana University Health and formerly as Assistant Treasurer at Eli Lilly and Company. Having served on the Elements board for more than 10 years, Huesing is already familiar with the culture, values, strategies, and goals of the organization. This valuable experience makes him a natural choice to guide the credit union at this time.

“I’m proud of this organization and thrilled to serve in an increased capacity for the credit union. My service on the board has allowed me to see the tremendous talent and dedication we have at Elements. It’s an honor to be asked to play a more direct and daily role in shaping the future of the credit union,” said Huesing.

Huesing holds a B.S. in Finance and an MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business.  His community involvement includes not only his board service for Elements, but also for Firefly Children and Family Alliance, and he chairs the board of its foundation. He also serves on the board of 16 Tech Community Corporation and the Investment Subcommittee of the NCAA Board of Governors Finance and Audit Committee.

While Huesing leads throughout 2024, the Elements Board will conduct a nationwide search for a permanent CEO.
