Bippus State Bank, a trusted community bank with deep roots in the region, recently broke ground on its newest branch in Fort Wayne. In collaboration with Design Collaborative, the bank is building a new 3,000-square-foot branch at The Commons at Wood Creek, strategically located in the heart of Northern Allen County. This marks an expansion into a new market for Bippus State Bank, with an expected opening date in the fourth quarter of 2025.
The new branch will embody Bippus State Bank’s mission of “Banking with Confidence,” reflecting the bank’s commitment to providing personalized, customer-first banking services. The branch will focus on supporting residents and business owners on the north side of Fort Wayne, offering easy access to financial products designed to meet their needs.
The Fort Wayne branch will feature a two-lane drive-thru. Inside the branch, a teller line will handle customer transactions while private offices will be utilized for consultations and closings for business and other retail banking needs. A conference room will accommodate larger groups and training needs.
"We are excited to help Bippus bring its community banking values to Fort Wayne," said Jared Monce, Project Manager and Financial Market Leader at Design Collaborative. "The design and layout of this new branch have been thoughtfully crafted to serve the community's needs and help Bippus build lasting relationships in Allen County."
In addition to the new branch, Design Collaborative and Bippus have teamed up to build an operations center in Bippus’s hometown of Huntington, Ind. to consolidate backend operations and enhance support infrastructure. The operations center is expected to open in July 2025.
