Indiana architects and engineers have a ton of cool projects going on, but we really wanted to hear about the ones that got them most excited. So, we put out the call to firms throughout the state for their input on the coolest architecture and engineering projects that have taken place in the last few years.
No requirements in terms of project cost, scale, location, or industry. We simply wanted the experts to tell us about the most exciting and interesting projects they’ve recently worked on. Their responses did not disappoint. Check out what Weaver Consultants Group shared with us:

The former Philadelphia Energy Solutions Refinery was the scene of a major industrial disaster in 2019 after an explosion occurred. Reconstruction involved the mitigation of environmental hazards at a massively contaminated brownfield site.
Weaver Consultants Group (WCG) was a key team member in supporting the acquisition of the former refinery and evaluating every aspect of the complicated, 1,300-acre property. Officials plan to revitalize the location into The Bellwether District, which will be a state-of-the-art campus for e-commerce, life sciences, and logistics. It is now under development.
WCG’s team was tasked with navigating a complex environmental history and regulatory status to support their client through all stages of the transaction. WCG prepared an ASTM-compliant Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) for this major project answer major technical questions for their clients and area stakeholders.
