Indiana architects and engineers have a ton of cool projects going on, but we wanted to hear about the ones that got them most excited. So, we put out the call to firms throughout the state for their input on the coolest architecture and engineering projects that have taken place in the last few years.
No requirements in terms of project cost, scale, location, or industry. We simply wanted the experts to tell us about the most exciting and interesting projects they’ve recently worked on. Their responses did not disappoint. Check out what American Structurepoint shared with us:

The new multi-purpose Loeb Stadium provides a destination attraction for the City of Lafayette. The American Structurepoint design team drew inspiration from the original stadium’s 1940s-era, Art Deco architecture. The new stadium stands on the same historic Columbian Park site as the facility it replaced.
By rotating home plate 180 degrees to a preferred northeast orientation and lowering the playing field by seven feet, the design provides clearer sightlines for spectators and better accessibility to nearby attractions.
The stadium has seating capacity for 2,600 people, including 1,910 chair-backed seats in the lower bowl, lawn seating behind the left-field wall, and three enclosed suites in the upper level.
A key feature of the stadium is a top-of-the-line video board approximately 24 feet tall by 43 feet wide with over one million pixels and over three million lamps. Its high resolution allows the city to host community movie nights.
