Capstone Rail has earned a Gold Award in the 2026 dotCOMM Awards for its newly launched website, CapstoneRail.com, recognizing excellence in web design and digital communication.
The award honors the complete redesign of Capstone Rail’s digital presence, built to better represent the company’s capabilities, project experience, and approach to working with developers and contractors across the Midwest.
The dotCOMM Awards is an international competition recognizing excellence in web creativity and digital communication, with entries submitted from across the United States and more than 20 countries. Only a portion of entries receive Gold-level recognition, placing Capstone Rail’s website among the top work submitted in its category.
“This wasn’t about building a flashy website,” said Clint Cochran, President of Capstone Rail. “It was about building something that actually reflects how we operate. Clear communication, strong planning, and doing what we say we’re going to do. The new site gives people a real look at who we are and how we work before we ever step on a jobsite.”
The redesigned website was built as a functional tool for developers, general contractors, and project stakeholders. Visitors can explore Capstone Rail’s project portfolio, understand installation capabilities across railing and fencing systems, review the company’s process, and submit project inquiries directly.
Rather than serving as a static marketing piece, the platform is designed to support ongoing growth, allowing Capstone Rail to continuously add projects, service areas, and industry-specific content as the company expands its footprint.
The project was completed in partnership with a digital development firm (North Star Marketing, LLC), with the work formally recognized under the “Website Redesign” category in the 2026 competition.
Capstone Rail’s work across multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use developments continues to expand throughout Indiana and the surrounding Midwest region, with the new website serving as a central hub for project visibility and contractor engagement.
