The Northwest Indiana Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (NWI SHRM) recently announced the 21st annual Human Resource Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, April 24th at the Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City.
The Human Resources Conference offers a full range of up-to-date HR information that will serve as valuable tools for companies and individuals from any type of industry. So far already in 2019 there have been several major workforce trends sweeping the nation and driving change, making it more important than ever for HR professionals to remain informed on the latest developments.
In addition to an exhibitors area featuring numerous vendors, eight breakout sessions will be taking place at the conference, including:
Jim Jorgensen, an attorney with Hoeppner, Wagner and Evans and board member with NWI SHRM, will be delivering the morning keynote. His popular “Legal Update” is normally standing room only, so rather than have him deliver a breakout session he’ll be conducting the morning keynote instead.
The lunch keynote speaker will be Nicole Martin. She will be discussing "HR and Profitability: The Role of HR in Building a Successful Business as the Talent Emergency Escalates."
