New Industrial Park Planned for Gary

A new $4 million industrial park is being planned for the former site of the Ivanhoe Gardens Housing Project in Gary. Dubbed the Northwest Indiana Industrial Complex, the site will be established on 25.8 acres and will originally include four buildings: two 75,000-square-foot buildings, and two 68,750-square-foot buildings. Garmong Development Co. LLC is taking the lead in bringing the project to life, and the City of Gary has also partnered with Garmong Construction Services, the Gary Housing Authority, the Gary Economic Development Corp., American Structurepoint Inc., and the Indiana Economic Development Corp.
