The grant is part of the Westfield Legacy of Caring program, which invites independent insurance agents to nominate a local nonprofit in the areas of disaster recovery, insurance pathways, family stability, or safety. Early Learning Partnership of NWI, which is based in Hammond, works to ensure that young children achieve school readiness and optimal social, emotional, and cognitive development.

“Our company has been privileged to serve non-profit clients such as the Early Learning Partnership of NWI and to witness firsthand the incredible impact they make on NWI families,” said Larry Meyers, Managing Partner of Property Casualty with Meyers Glaros Group. “We were thrilled to learn that Westfield Insurance Foundation chose to support the Early Learning Partnership’s mission based on our nomination.”

“We have strong relationships with our agents, and we value the important role they play in their communities,” said Ed Largent, Westfield President, CEO, board chair and foundation chairman. “Our agents help provide peace of mind and security, and the Legacy of Caring fund is an extension of the fundamental role insurance plays every day stabilizing families, businesses and communities.”
