Cargill Inviting Attendees for Career Prep Seminar

The Women in Ops organization at Cargill Inc. Hammond, IN is proud to host its second annual Career Preparation seminar. This event is designed to provide information to high schoolers and their parents about various options students can pursue after high school. Due to the current circumstances with COVID-19, this year’s event will be held online via Microsoft Teams. This will be presented by current employees of Cargill and anyone is welcome to join.

  • Date: Tuesday, November 17th
  • Time: 5-7pm CST
  • Location: Microsoft Teams – The link will be provided after registration is closed

Topics included:

  • Types of higher education institutions, majors, degrees, etc.
  • College application process
  • FAFSA, scholarships, grants, financial aid
  • Test prep – SAT/ACT
  • Resume building, interview prep, etc.
  • Manufacturing related careers to pursue with a panel of Cargill employees
