Ground Broken on Two Buildings in Plainfield Logistics Park

Ambrose Property Group announced the groundbreaking of two buildings at Plainfield Logistics Park. The Class A logistics park sits on 80 acres and is located southwest of Indianapolis with immediate access to Interstate 70. The new buildings, now under construction, will be the second and third of an up to four-building development totaling nearly 900,000 square feet.

“These modern distribution buildings are a great asset to the town of Plainfield and the city of Indianapolis as a whole,” said Grant Goldman, Ambrose Property Group executive vice president of development. “The park’s immediate access to I-70 and close proximity to Indianapolis International Airport makes it very attractive for companies looking to lease industrial space. The first building in the park was fully leased when construction was complete. We have no doubt the second and third buildings will result in a similar demand.”

Plainfield Logistics Park Building II is a 203,000-square-foot Class A building located on 12.5 acres. The building features 32-foot clear height with 20 dock doors, two drive-in doors and a 140-foot truck court. The building will be available for fixturing in the fall of 2021 and complete by December.

Plainfield Logistics Park Building III is a 474,000-square-foot Class A building located on 26 acres. PLP III features 36-foot clear height with 48 dock doors, three drive-in doors and a 140-foot truck court. The building also includes 2,500 square feet of office space. PLP Building III will be available for fixturing in the fall of 2021 and complete by December.

“Plainfield is one of Indiana’s fastest-growing communities, and Plainfield Logistics Park is an exciting part of our development,” said Robin Brandgard, president of the Plainfield Town Council. “The new buildings will aid our efforts to bring new businesses and good-paying jobs to Plainfield.”
