- Priorities revealed: Maintaining the security of company systems; innovating and helping to grow the business; and managing cloud-based initiatives ranked the highest among local companies.
“Available tech talent is still in short supply,” said Lisa Maloney, branch manager for Robert Half Technology in Indianapolis. “As more companies implement AI, automation and data analysis to improve sales and productivity, demand for professionals with data analytics, development and support experience will remain. More local businesses are extending their operating hours which is creating demand for software support analysts and call-center help desk specialists.”
“Additionally, we’re seeing more companies continue to offer flexible work schedules, telecommuting options and professional development training to be more competitive in the market outside of standard benefits and salary,” continued Maloney. “Many businesses are catching on to the fact that a speedy hiring process is crucial to securing top tech talent.”
