Ground Broken on New Animal Clinic

An animal clinic in Indianapolis has begun construction on a 7,000 square-foot expansion that will double the company’s space by 2017. FACE Low-Cost Animal Clinic has reached 65 percent of its fundraising goal of $3.6 million for the new building, primarily through private donations. Once the new addition is complete, the company will occupy the new space while its current space is renovated.

FACE has performed more than 230,000 spay and neuter surgeries since it was established, helping to significantly reduce pet overpopulation in Indy and reduce the number of animals that are euthanized each year. In the time the company has been operating, euthanizations in Indy have dropped from 22,000 each year to just over 2,000.
