Bringing the Best Minds in Safety Together

Bringing the Best Minds in Safety Together

Crown Point, IN – Jan. 7, 2016 – Last year, the state of Indiana’s safety performance nearly reached record-setting levels, and we’re excited to kick off 2016 by taking this trend even further. The sixth-annual Beyond Safety Conference and Expo is just a few weeks away, scheduled for February 11th at the Avalon Manor in Merrillville, IN, bringing the state’s top safety experts together for a day of networking and educating.

At Beyond Safety, participants gather to share best practices and new innovations even if they’re from competing companies. This type of collaborative development is exceptionally rare throughout the business world, but quite valuable among individuals involved in safety management because they share a common goal: bringing workers home safely to their families each evening.

This year’s conference contains some new elements that differ from previous years, including a brand new venue at the high-end Avalon Manor, and a streamlined schedule that allows for greater efficiency by scheduling all of the activities into a single day. The attendees will be presented with highly informative seminars, expert speakers, exhibitors displaying the latest safety technology on the trade show floor, and exclusive networking opportunities found at no other event of its kind in the Midwestern region. All told, it’s a great investment in continuing education for any company, and it’s a great value for the low price of a ticket.

The event is brought to life through a partnership between the Northwest Indiana Business Roundtable (NWIBRT), the Construction Advancement Foundation (CAF), Northwest Indiana Community Action (NWICA) and the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE); organizations with lengthy histories in safety proficiency and excellence across numerous industries.

Some of the biggest companies from throughout the state of Indiana will have representatives present at this year’s event, including individuals from BP, NIPSCO, US Steel, and ArcelorMittal. Some are attending as presenters, and others will be attending to learn and share.

Currently, tickets are still available for anyone wishing to attend the event, and there are still a few vendor spaces left available on the tradeshow floor. To learn more about either, please visit BeyondSafetyExpo.com for additional details.
